Deck mounted skylights are available in four models:

– fixed
– manual venting
– electric venting
– NEW solar venting

Fixed models are the most economical choice to bring daylight and a view of the sky to your home. Manually venting skylights are ideal for an in-reach application, such as a loft space or vaulted ceiling. The added benefit of ventilation draws warm, stale air out and provides a cooling effect.

Electric venting new cut skylights operate with a radio frequency remote control that can be programmed to your needs. They come complete with rain sensors and will close automatically at the first drop of rain.

New in 2013, VELUX is offering a solar powered venting skylight! Operating off a solar battery charged by indirect sunlight, this is a “green friendly” way to control your living environment. The RenoSense Men were proud to install the very first VSS solar venting skylight in Canada!

The No Leak Skylight offers three layers of water protection to ensure a completely watertight installation in even the most extreme weather conditions. The engineered design forces water to be drawn away from the skylight and down the roof.

VELUX offers a wide range of blinds to match any decor – available in light-diffusing and total blackout options. Blinds are especially ideal for a bedroom or media room, to block the glare of the sun on a TV screen.
